★★★★★“We celebrated our wedding anniversary at NOX and it was such a great experience from the beginning to the end. The staff were attentive. Pre dinner cocktails were great. The main dining experience was the highlight. Our host, Peter, was very polite and friendly. He could speak 10 languages and talked to me in Vietnamese fluently! Trying to guess the dishes and the wine was fun. We were completely off on a couple of them. A big part of this unique experience is the opportunity to really connect with each other through conversations and senses without any other distractions. All in all we really enjoyed it and would highly recommend everyone to experience at least once. Bonus - we were surprised with a cake for our anniversary at the end. Thank you for making our celebration fun and memorable!”
★★★★★“Super!! This is so out of the world!!! Dining in complete darkness and we couldn’t see our tables, utensils and hands!! It was like a mini secret masquerade testing us to finish our food and drinks without spilling and without using our eyesight. An ultimate dinner experience with Nox and thank you for making our anniversary so memorable. I would like to specially thank Peter for introducing this restaurant to us during an event in July 2026. He has spoken really good Japanese and that does help to alleviate his profile for conversing with clients. Also, I would like to specially thank your waiter for table 7 on 21 Jul evening (I didn’t get his name but he is medium large in size with spiky hair) for being so patient with us and systematically serve our food and drinks without spilling. I heard that there was a group of 9 behind us and everything went smooth yet exciting at the same time. We opted for the wine option on top of our set menu, lovely combination and easy to drink with our appetiser, mains and desserts. Food portions were generous and we love to visit Nox again with family, friends and colleagues when they change their menu every 2 months. Happy to spread the word and love for all who worked hard to make this possible. They have vegetarian option too which gives more options to vegetarian diners.”
★★★★★“We celebrated our anniversary at NOX – Dine in the Dark, and it was such a unique and memorable experience from start to finish. The staff were warm, attentive and welcoming throughout the evening. We enjoyed the pre-dinner snack, but the main highlight was, of course, the dining-in-the-dark experience. Our host was friendly, patient and professional. He carefully guided us through the meal, explaining where our food, drinks and cutlery were placed and making sure that we were comfortable at all times. His confidence and calm presence made the whole experience feel smooth and enjoyable. It was also incredibly humbling to be guided in complete darkness by someone who is visually impaired. The meal consisted of 12 dishes—four appetisers, four mains and four desserts. Without being able to see the food, we had to rely entirely on our taste, smell and touch to work out what we were eating. Trying to guess the dishes and drinks was great fun, even though we got quite a few of them wrong! What made the experience especially meaningful was the opportunity to connect without the usual distractions. With no phones or visual cues, we were able to focus fully on each other, our conversations and the different sensations of the meal. At the end of the evening, the team surprised us with an anniversary cake, which was a thoughtful gesture and a lovely way to end the celebration. Overall, NOX offers much more than just a meal. It is an eye-opening experience that encourages you to appreciate your senses, view dining from a different perspective and gain a deeper respect for the visually impaired. We would highly recommend trying it at least once, especially for a special occasion. Thank you to the team for making our anniversary celebration so enjoyable and unforgettable.”
★★★★★“First time at NOX and probably not my last. Overall it was definitely a very unique dining experience. You get served a starter at the lounge before having to keep your items in a locker and heading the the main dining room. So probably advice to travel light when visiting the restaurant. We had their latest menu and I’d say that the food is good overall. You get 12 mini dishes ( 3 courses, each serving 4 dishes). Service staff were all very welcoming and polite. Celebrated a friends bday and they even provided a complimentary cake. Definitely a memorable dinner. Recommend to try at least once!”
